Inky fading to purple/ruby rim. Medium legs. Despite standing the wine up for 24+ hours prior to serving, heavy sediment resulted in below-average clarity. Aromas: red currant, black currant, blueberry, hints of plum, definite light toast and vanilla. On the palate, especially on Day 2, black olive emerged. Medium/full body, medium minus acidity, linear texture. Medium finish. Impression: not quite varietally correct, but interesting flavor profile. At 9 years, may be at prime. At $22, QPR just below average. Good enough that I will seek out other varietals, focusing on those <$20. Drink now.

PnP room temp, no decant/air time. Clear, deep purple/red. Surprising good Cab from CO, maybe best I've had. Excellent balance/integration, tannins resolved. Med/full body and flavor intensity. Classic Cab nose and taste, hard to believe it's not CA. Great effort/juice, med long, clean finish. Nothing off, super value. $19
