Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 86.3 points

  • Light translucent ruby. Nose of cherry, grape juice, floral notes with some dusty earth; can smell the acidity. Palate is Welch's grape juice mixed with seltzer water - sweet red fruit is immediately balanced by sharp acidity. Some chalk dust minerality shows up on midpalate. Finish is respectable length, but like you're tasting the tart part of the Welch's with carbonation.

Had to edit this note after finishing the bottle (initially rated 86). With some air, a lot of the floral and mineral notes disappear and you just get the grape juice and seltzer. Certainly not bad, but gets boring... good party wine, but I certainly wouldn't drink a bottle by myself. 83-84.
