deep ruby in color, reticent black cherry aroma, moderate body at first, then seemed to get bigger the second day, blocky straightforward dark fruit, nicely balanced by acidity but simple and monodimensional. On day one, the tannins were restrained, but on day two, they were more pronounced. Moderate length. Overall a pretty good accompanient for meat and tomato dishes and a fair value, but nothing more than a weeknight bottle. Doubt it will improve further although the tannins may soften.

Good wine for the budget price, but nothing special. Sour cherries and some leather notes...agree with prior reviewer; tart after taste. Definitely time to drink this vintage up.

Nice entry and nose, with typical rustic blackberry... but perhaps a bit past its peak, as the finish seems a bit tart and a tiny bit hot. A bit of secondary characteristics make this enjoyable though.

wine that has passed its peak. On the nose it shows some boise notes, very mature fruit. Mouth is warm, medium acidity, evolved tannins.
