  • This was enjoyed at Bricco in Boston. Dark ruby red with some hay, stone, raspberry and bing cherry. This is a mid weight wine that was good and balanced, but not carry too much depth weight. I've enjoyed this before but it felt is was missing...terrior. It arrived at the table room temperature so I wonder how it had been treated. This may gain in aromatic complexity over time but I don't believe it has the body to go the long distance. Enjoy sooner rather than later.

  • e6 glass at quippe in Alba. Heavy, tar, pongy, almost feels a touch oxidised, but within the bounds of the style. Not at all tannic but good grip all the same. Good easy drinking relative to the style.
