Big rich ripe nose of sweet raspberry, cherries, and blackberry with hints of bitter chocolate, very expressive and lush. Big velvety density with a fruit bomb of Flavors well integrated and a tad more restrained the the aromas would predict. Soft texture. A bit warm but others quite nice, this is a big rioe wine, but well made.

An amazing nose, the components of which I cannot identify. The palate doesn't quite deliver on that promise. It's nice, though; soft and even-handed, with a bit of tartness at the end that makes me suspect it would be good with a wide range of foods in a way that I don't normally expect of Paso Robles wine. What it isn't is particularly complicated, and at this price point I expect more layers or intrigue.

Just nothing about that excited me. Heavy alcohol. Lots of wood. Nothing exciting.
