From magnum. Big deep floral, damp earth, sweet blue fruits (macerated blueberries?), more powerful than expected and very appealing. The same fruit comes on the palate, carries this through on a clean finish with modest persistence. At peak drinking and should keep here for a few years, excellent today.

The color is deep purple with a black center and is quite opaque. Fruit-forward nose with all manner of dark fruit and some oak but not overdone. Full-bodied and fully flavored with nicely balanced tannins. Long finish! Fantastic.

This wine is medium-deep purple in hue. Its aromas include blackberry, black cherry, pepper, and a touch of vanilla and oak. It is very fruit forward on the palate. It is dry, medium bodied, medium alcohol, well integrated tannins, medium-high acidity, and a plush mouthfeel with a nice finish. I would have never expected this wine was a Malbec - it drinks more like a Bordeaux. Excellent!

(Château de Haute-Serre Cahors Grand Vin Seigneur) Saturated, very dark ruby color; tart berry, oak nose; tart berry, oak palate; medium finish (85% Malbec, 15% Merlot & Tannat; 15% alcohol; 12-18 months in new oak)

Robe foncée. Sur des arômes de terre, boisé et fruit noir. Prêt à être bu et pas trop astringent pour un cahors. Trop boisé pour mes gouts
