Easy drinking, especially for an Oregon pinot (which we sometimes find too acidic). Red fruited, balanced acidity, spice, and a touch of earth. However, not much in the way of complexity. Decent QPR.

This was a ridiculous value for a fresh, young 12.5% Pinot from the son of Ken Wright. Cloudy and fuchsia colored, bright fresh fruit with that great dirty cherry and blackberry character, funky forest and floral notes. I really have loved the 2012 Pinots in their primary stage... no idea how long that will last overall, but I am buying more!

Cloudy purple in appearance. Pretty tight on the nose. Palette is similarly closed up. There's some decent fruit there, but the tannins are pretty grippy and the acidity notably low. The tannins mellowed a little on the second night, and some root beer started to emerge from the background, but overall this is falling short for me right now.

- Garnet color - Nice everyday Oregon Pinot Noir. Nothing amazing but will not disappoint when it hits the lips.
