  • Pleine maturité, nez légèrement sur les pruneaux, il n'ira pas plus loin mais très agréable et en équilibre. À boire.

  • Mature nose showing leather, red fruit, bay leafs and dill. The maturity continues on the palate with smooth tannins and lots of fruit lead way for the long finish. This is drinking very fine already and is a very good sample of a mature Rioja from a good vintage. This can of course cellar much longer if you like your wine on the very mature side.

  • Pop and poured. Nicely aged, medium matured aromas of sweet plum fruit, baking spices, tart dark cherry skins, light graphite. Very very pleasing, delicious. Smells awesome. Palate entry is more of that delicious sweet mature cherry fruit tones. Really juicy and lovely, coupled with some berry pie notes, great acid and delicious sweet soil tones. Nice blueberry notes. Just tons of various berries. There's just enough tannin holding it all together, complete with beautiful acid. Wow, and it follows up on the finish, too! Surprising ripe red and blue fruits with tons of spicy, decadent fruit pie notes. I'm amazed how beautifully and delicious this wine is tasting considering the recent notes. Absolutely decadent. I will say that after a few hours open this wasn't quite as delicious and juicy, showing slightly more mature tones, it still remained yummy. This is a great wine to pop and pour with a group of people. Score is on that fresh pop. EDIT: I put a cork in this and consumed the second half of the bottle on night two, at which point it was pretty dead. No exuberance at all and tasted quite old and stale. Again, drink this within 20 minutes of opening. Then it's yummy.

  • Vanilla, chocolate and plum on the nose. The palate is medium body and with good structure and nice length.
