Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): To say this was the QPR of the tasting would not be an understatement. This was showing amazing. Stone, floral, green olives, earth, menthol and white pepper. Long and concentrated finish. If you have one of these decant and hour and see what you think!

Yum! This was a big nice smokey Syrah with a very nice balance of fruit and tannins. Long lasting finish.

Certainly good QPR for the $15 tariff, though no great shakes as a WW Syrah. Served as a reasonable spicy accompaniment w BBQ pork meal. Drink.

One of the better price to quality ratio wines. Showing some nice age with dark fruits melding with nice earthy flavors a touch of coffee and cassis.

A little hot at first, but that subsided over 3 hours in the decanter. Cherry and smoky flavor. Good wine for the price, but nothing earth shattering.
