Popped and poured; consumed over two hours at Masso in Manama, Bahrain. No formal notes but I can assure you it was a very nice addition to the meal (Beef Tenderloin, Veal Chop, and fresh Burrata). Gachon is owned by the Arpin family who, apparently in recent vintages, have spared little expense when it comes to the wine making at Gachon. I believe this shows in the quality of the juice. Could have ordered a second bottle...but the kids literally fell asleep at the table! While I cannot verify this for sure, I have heard that the vines of Chateau Gachon are only 400M away from Petrus. Interesting if true.
