I opened the previous bottle early 2019 and another, 6 months before that and gave it 95 points. Alas, I've hoarded my last bottle as this wine is no longer made, and it's just on the border of past its prime. While still pretty fantastic upon opening, it began deteriorating pretty quickly in the glass. Fruity and balanced, medium tannins. Blueberries, cassis and tarragon. Picking up some pithiness in the middle this time around. Farewell to one of the only wines I've ever bought several bottles of, I loved it that much.

Something about this makes every red wine drinker I share the Feast with LOVE this wine. Perfect balance of fruit, tannins, & acidity. Not overpowering like many of today's New World red blends. Nice medium body, drinks easy, yet still has character. Dark fruits, spice and vanilla, with a touch of earthy leather. Just yum, one of my all time favorite wines.

The first time I tried this wine about 6 months ago, I was disappointed. The right bank style is typically in my wheelhouse. We tried it again and liked it much better this time. Raspberry, strawberry and blackberry bouquet. The red fruit has finally come to play. Much more aromatic and floral than the last time I tried it. The Merlot is much more prominent now. Slight spice in the finish.

Red fruit and blackberry on the nose. Much more red fruit on the palate than previous tastings. Primarily cherry.
