Lifted nose typical of Tuscany, bursting with black and blueberries, enriched by balsamic, earthy and leather as well as vanilla. Mouth reflective of the nose, very fresh, yet smooth with high intensity of fine tannins. Very smooth, fresh and balanced, medium to long fruity finish. Excellent value for money, did not expect this wine to stand this long. Would say at least could keep for 3-4 years. CT last drink date is misleading for my taste and my bottle.

Rather alcoholic nose, strong aromas of blackberries; not very inviting. Cooked, alcoholic blackberries on the palate. Far too little acidity to balance the alcoholic fruit impression, no bite, blurred and boring. Just good enough for simple pasta during the week, but even in this low price range and considering the vintage there are much better options in my opinion.

Very nice fruit forward nose with blackcurrant, brambles and cherries. Hint of dusty cellar behind this. Cherries and brambles again on the palate, along with tar and peat.

Blueberry, black current and a bit of red cherry. Generally good smooth drinking lacking some layered depth elegance and bite.
