  A delightful and now ready to drink true CdeR. Most take 2+ decades, but this lush, only mildly rough- hewn dark crimson bottle yielded beautiful typical scents of deep forest floor, a bit of smoke and night- time forest woody notes, lush deep red velvet texture,and that chiseled Laurent style. Yes, it was a fruit- forward vintage, but the secondary flavors are there to be had. Not the most complex CdeR I have had , but sufficiently so to bear its Grand Cru stature.

  Another Sat Night @ RV!: Red fruits, plums, cherries, dark chocolate. This was quite powerful yet with finesse at the same time. Silky tannins and tasty fruits. Drinking very well now. Open up
