  • This is surprisingly good - excellent structure and core. Dark plum core of moderate intensity out to a vermillion edge - still youthful. Moderate intensity aromatics that are very Napa/Sonoma with a sweet core of blackcurrent and earth along with just a touch of sage. On the palate there's good intensity of fruit with an extremely well rounded touch of oak. Moderate and balanced acid/tannin/body/alcohol (12.9% alc/vol on label). The finish is moderate (still developing) with some dried cherries and a bit of a hit of acid - acid may become a problem down the road as the final touch on the finish is a bit watery. However, one of the best BC wines I've had in a long time. Well Done Bill!
