Bought this at Trader Joe's in Winston-Salem, NC. I have never seen a Barbaresco wine this cheap ($10). Bottle has been in my cellar for over 2 years. Cork was saturated and soft for half its depth. Was expecting the wine to flawed/oxidized, but it was good. Medium body, color tawny w/ orange rim. Nose like an orange liquor with a little spice. Smooth dry leather and licorice with a delayed long dry tannin finish. Surprisingly good wine at a bargain price.

decanted for 1 hour. Earthy, tar, chewy, medium body. Better than last bottle. great deal for $11.

1 hour decant, still toght, dry fruit, some leather in background with tiny amount of tar. Perhaps a dull stage.

Very thin, acidic, not a Barbaresco!
