Medium golden colour. Nose is slightly oxidized but in a nice way and much more gently than many a white Burgundy. Ripe fruit like quince and melon and orange peel along with hints of earthy minerality and wet wool. Palate is medium to full bodied with balanced acidity and flavour. Quite long aftertaste. Very nice aged Chardonnay, because of its complexity it is difficult to judge it as past its best yet I would not keep it much longer.

I was offered this bottle free from the wine-shop salesman because he thought it would be past its mark. Well...evolution is evident but the wine is by no means undrinkable. Its fruit is very ripe but present, oakiness is perfectly integrated and acidity is high. Its main draw-back is a vegetality at the finish. Went back to the shop and bought the remaining 2 bottles plus a 2005 at one third of the original price (i.e. the 3 at the price of one). Good deal indeed!

Enjoyable, but I think its past its mark. Nice gold color, a nose filled with apple and citrus. Does not come off "oaky" at all, which I liked. By the second day it seemed a bit flabby and lacked the brightness from the day before. Smooth and well balanced right out of the cooler, but keep it on the cooler side.
