Fresh on the nose, but still with notes of petrol, a bit of bitter herb, and dandilion. Burnt peach, over-ripe strawberry, powdered overly-sweet blueberry, and a hint of raw sugar at the end of the palate. Nose is much more pleasant than the reality of the palate. Really turns into very strong flavors of petrol, oil, and reductive petroleum with very little redeeming fruit qualities once it is on the palate. Very bitter herb notes at the very end of the palate that seems to last with no noticeable fruit notes.

Excellent wine. Dry and sweet at the same time. A finish of raisins. Felicity is the best way to describe. Considering that this is a wine from Texas, it outstanding!

They put the wrong grape in the bottle. Taste screams gewertztramiener. Distinct nose wafts up as a light spice floral. Introduces as pucker-up citrus. Definite sweet although not cloyingly so. Immediate floral undercurrent. This is not Viognier.

Simple, classic Viognier. Stronger on the palette than the nose. Strong taste and finish, just lacking complexity and wow factor.
