Yankee selection for dry aged beef ribs (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium plus intensity aromas of sweet spices, blackcurrant, cassis, slight vanilla, cream, oak is quite polished and there is a tiny pyrazine note as well. Concentrated without being over bearing on the palate. Long, polished., tannins are beautifully integrated and this is a pretty handy wine.

Soft in all aspects. Smooth, little earth, medium finish.
