Wine brought to a dinner so no formal notes taken. Was fortunate enough to be able to drink this with Duncan Arnot-Meyers. This has really blossomed since last tasted. No more funky aromas - this is beautiful juice with a tannic backbone which to me is striking for a Gamay. The whole cluster fermentation is now seamless, with the juicy fruit and tannins from the stems all wrapped up in one luscious package. I commented on the price last note, but the way this is drinking now, its all worth it.

Now THIS is what I was hoping for from the RPM project. Where the '11 seemed trying too hard to be Cru Beaujolais, this vintage owns it's California terrior. That's not to say this is a big wine, it's just Gamay with a little more flesh on its bones, a Gamay with a sun drenched face. Even so, this wine is all about rocks and tea and flowers... and dark cherry and raspberry fruit. Really, really damn good.

Brought to BYOB Southern Culture dinner - no notes taken. Slightly pettilant, funky aromas, which did blow off after a few minutes. Nice and fruity, similar to Grand Cru Beaujolais in body and complexity. Not sure I wouldn't be better off and better price point just buying the real thing

I'm letting this sit over night. This was so sulfuric when I opened it I had to record it and give it a night. Tasted fine, I just couldn't get past that hard boiled egg smell. Now 82 due to the nose, will revisit tomorrow . . .

Yes, this. Still getting better. Fruit and body over sinew and stones.
