Silly, stupid and just blah… What's the point of this wine? Has no character, soul or identity. There are enough, in-your-face, stupid wines out there and the world doesn't need any more. I'd pull the pin on the grenade and throw it away..….
Plum, bing cherry, blackberry, with almost a cedar bark woodiness beneath it all. Warm, rich, versatile. Beautiful balance of fruit and earth.
Drank over three nights, feeling it mellow and grow softer with time, but held up beautifully for more than 72 hours. Was a wonderful match with a variety of meals: chili, pho (beef soup), quinoa salad.
Picked up this wine on a whim when we saw Dundee OR on the label (although the label didn't have many other details). Turns out it is an intriguing blend of OR syrah & tempranillo along with WA cab sauvignon and merlot.
What a nice surprise and a great value for the price. Immediately picked up on the syrah with some nice blackberry notes coming through. Very enjoyable.
