Consumed over ~2 hours with pan-roasted chicken. Down-the-middle chardonnay - apple, a little pineapple, a little oak astringency, and a decent hit of lemon acidity. Despite that, it did come off as somewhat flat and heavy, especially as it warmed up. Nothing special, but a nice enough match for dinner. Drink soon, and keep it chilled. 85ish.

Color: Very pale yellow - pale straw? Nose: light and fruity. Taste: Light, but improbably round and fruity, including citrus. Donna tasted "a bit of caramel" and noted that there was an unexpectedly nice balance between sweet caramel and tartness." Very clean and great with food. We had this wine with homemade Risotto in fresh lobster broth, with fresh shitake and crimini mushrooms. Amazing!

Had with tomato based soup with various veggies and white beans. This is the best showing for this wine for me. The acidity played well with the tomato and brought out a bit of the lean fruit in the wine. Drink with more acidic foods and I think you will find this wine better than by itself.

Lean on fruit which makes it out of balance with the alcohol and acid. Still serviceable, but needs to be with food- mild cheese, softer soups, seafood.

A little out of balance, but a good wine for the price point.
