Tasted this in a horizontal tasting together with 2005 and 2006 Chateau Pey La Tour. The color is brick-red, translucent towards the edges. The nose shows nice aromas of cherries and blackberries, some wet forest soil smell. The body is medium dense with a well defined but prominent acidity. Some complexity and elegance. Needed a few hours of decanting. Not the most thrilling or memorable wine, but good QPR for a small Bordeaux. A classic everyday food wine. But the 2005 Pey La Tour seemed clearly more attractive to me.

Initially plums and spice, then with air time classic bordeaux smell, some earthy notes add interest and redeem it from being too international.Brilliant ruby red, light body, soft supple tannins. Refreshing tartness. 12.5%. Linear, no holes, balanced; not a complicated wine, very drinkable. Michel Rolland is a consultant to this winery.

Sweet vanilla smell, then lifted hints of blueberry; no earthy notes. In the mouth, flat, light body; with drying finish. Good
