  • Light ruby. Slightly pungent nose-black and blue fruit with pine and spice. Medium to full bodied, significant flesh. Lower pitched, somewhat dull feeling fruit, although maybe I’m biased having tasted a crisp, lithe Barbaresco earlier today. Noticeable wood, sound acidity, and some tannins to work through. Could relax more, but at present very good but unexciting.

  • Mørk og animalsk nese. Åpner seg med luft. Old-school stil. Veldig kul.

  • Mirrors much of my previous note on this wine, singing beautifully now. The nice red fruit is lingering above the more mature fruit, overall the there is a great width in the fruit which is mirrored on the palate. Balance and elegance, good length. Details, but the nose is perhaps a tad better than the palate, easy to get stuck smelling this one.

Still some future ahead but drinking well now.

  • opened 7 hours beforehand. nice nose, young but open. good length, youngish with a fine integraed but noteworthy tanin. Can easily keep 10 more years.

  • [Family combined note with lots of different impressions] Nose of redcurrant, raisins, spicy green pepper, burnt brown sugar, marmalade, and dark cherry. Dark fruit with a hint of tobacco on the palate, medium body, velvety tannins, long finish.
