  • Shabbat dinner with Jenni and precious at home alongside a mayo pinot 2016 from california. This was absolutely brilliant. On open the nose screamed burgundy terroir but the flavors were a bit muted. After 30-60 minutes the flavors came out and it was beautiful. Everyone preferred this one between the two wines.

  • Developed well in the last 2 years (as many other Côte de Nuits 2012). Mainly on the red fruit (cherries) with some earthy notes, this is a lighter Clos des Porrets, elegant and well structured. A short decant is helpful.

  • Perfumed medium(-) purple-ruby beauty with cherry, a touch barnyard, spice framed by supple medium tannins and medium(+) acidity. Medium(+) body, 13% abv and a long, long finish. Elegant, subtle an nuanced. So much more discreet than HG Les Pruliers.
    Excellent.

90-91 pts

  • Lovely perfumed Burgundy nose of pot-pouri, underbrush, black cherry skin, sandal wood; med. correct mouthfeel, elevated acidity and med tannins, quite earthy after a spell with foresty notes coming out, very dry, a bit acidic, charming, not a wowing me but very nice. In a good place now and will hold for 5-10 years. Duck House w/ Hiro/friends
