Decanted for 1 hour, than drank over the next 3 hours. A very dark wine, still somewhat tight & a big/thick "wow" pop at first, then morphed into a touch spicy, pepper & tannic, then got smoother at 2 hour mark. Last glass was raisins & sweet port like. So many changes over the 3 hours of drinking. Give it more time. 94+, perhaps higher with age.

This is a powerhouse of a wine.Inky color, sophisticated nose with dark chocolate, black cherries, earth, spices and smoke but not overdone by the oak.Full bodied and powerful with velvety tannins, great structure and length. It is so rich, but you'll never feel the 16% alcohol.Drinking well now,but needs another 4-5 years.Excellent.

Matter of Taste: Wine Advocate Tasting (Miami, FL): 70% cabernet sauvignon, 30% monastrell. Aged for 24 months in new French and American oak. Young, very fruity, soft tannins. Needs 5-10 more years. (Doris 91)

Amazing wine! Black and blueberry, thick as gravy, medium finish, wonderful tannins, fruity nose

Pnp, drank over 2 hours. Thick yet aged, smooth, fruit softer. Drink one now. At peak or on the downside (at least this bottle was).
