Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Poured straight from bottle. Ruby Red in colour with a pale watery rim. Secondary characters dominate, charcuterie & aged deli meats. A slight dark plum note. Drinking well at the moment, definitely has more years left, but for my nose & palate it's not going to get any better (for me at least). It's nice to try a younger vintage compared to the 99' and 97' I tried over the last several years, it confirms my preference to drink the Mt Langi Ghrian on the younger side. I would recommend a gentle decant - preferably 1- 2 hours. 92
