  Just a Wow wine. Barnyard funk (quite pleasant) on the front. Lush layers of fruit, earth, leather, spice. Medium plus weight (leaning more to heavy) with 30-45 second finish. Improved with air time. New world juice. Great drinking window.

  I have never given a rating on here of 100. I have had a lot of highly acclaimed, highly rated, expensive wines, but never have my taste buds enjoyed something like this. I decanted for 12 hours in my temerature controlled cellar (55 degrees) prior to having this big boy, and was blown away by the complexity. The nose was amazing, and complex. There was red fruit, currant, leather, earth, a bit of funk going on (but in such a good way). The flavor profile was just as complex, with a lingering finish of over a minute. Shared this with four friends, and we were all blown away.
