Interesting blackberries in the nose. Does not carry to the palate. I remember buying this wine at a birthday party but i am not sure how it made it home as well as how it got ignored until now. Not much left if there was ever anything in the first place. Not bad but certainly not great.
Man, i need to clear out my cellar.

Not a great wine by any stretch, but more drinkable than many of these notes suggest. Cherry and plum with orange peel notes, a slight bit of nail polish but it wasn't persistent.

The VLG Goes Spanish: A nice surprise here. Not something I had ever seen. As Cris said it was slightly candied but the wine really worked well with the food. Not cloying and not overly oaked.

Vineyard Lunch Gang does Spain (Vinyard Music Office): Bright, tart, juicy and light nose with pruney candied fruits. Bright juicy palate that is light bodied, acidic and sweet of raisins. Some heat. Nice daily drinker for the weeknights that will work with dinner.

Maybe it's the unusual grape, the Lledoner Pelut Noir, that gives this wine a strange taste. There’s a hint of rotten wood, or maybe mouse droppings in this. Very complex, but I do not like this blend.
