  • Best bottle from a batch of four. Good level, good cork, clear colour. Lots of salami and meat, like a dried sausage. Also some red dried berries. Medium light bodied, low alcohol makes it very drinkable.

  • Some coffee, smokiness, leather on the nose, give it at least 30 min in the glass to compose itself, again this is more about the nose than the palate. A bad vintage in general and this crianza is more a peculiarity than a wine for enjoyment.

  • Mature colour, medium-deep, bricky garnet; delectable nose, warm, soft, harmonious, full of character, good depth, oak, needs some oxygen to release its fruit aromas of plums and red berries; fullish palate, velvety, sweet attack, concentrated fruit, lovely balance, firm and lively, harmonious, elegant and supple, juicy acidity; excellent length. Classic Rioja, still young at seven years of age, excellent potential.
