  Best bottle from a batch of four. Good level, good cork, clear colour. Lots of salami and meat, like a dried sausage. Also some red dried berries. Medium light bodied, low alcohol makes it very drinkable.

  Some coffee, smokiness, leather on the nose, give it at least 30 min in the glass to compose itself, again this is more about the nose than the palate. A bad vintage in general and this crianza is more a peculiarity than a wine for enjoyment.

  Mature colour, medium-deep, bricky garnet; delectable nose, warm, soft, harmonious, full of character, good depth, oak, needs some oxygen to release its fruit aromas of plums and red berries; fullish palate, velvety, sweet attack, concentrated fruit, lovely balance, firm and lively, harmonious, elegant and supple, juicy acidity; excellent length. Classic Rioja, still young at seven years of age, excellent potential.
