  I picked a few bottles of this up while touring Sonoma Valley. The manager recommends drinking this wine between 2013 - 2017. It is showing very well now but might be worth leaving in the bottle another 6 months to further develop what is already a fairly complex wine.
  
  This Zin is purple in color with a nose of blackberries, vanilla, and a hint of oak. As it opens, it presents just a tinge of lighter berry notes. Even with all the hints of fruit, it stays well-balanced with good acidity, some chocolate flavors and a decadent mouth feel. I'm not normally a Zin guy but this is very good.
