Subtle nose, rich black & blue fruit palate. Nice acidity with soft tannins and medium finish. While it drank nicely on cork pull, it really came together after 60-90min decant. Likely has a few years of life left.

Rich, delicious black cherry fruit, soft, mellowed tannins, excellent structure, ample finish and acidity, seemed to lack density and complexity of fruit and flavors

Blind tasting of flagship and second wines from California and Washington. Biggest takeaway is how well the second wines stood up to their bigger siblings. My #4. Darker red color, nose was somewhat faint. Beautiful flavors but in the given company seemed less complex (flatter) than the others. Medium-long finish. Full list and rankings below.
1. 2011 Ridge Monte Bello 2. 2013 Joseph Phelps Cabernet 3. 2012 Quilceda Creek Cabernet 4. 2011 Pride Mountain Reserve Cabernet 5. 2013 Joseph Phelps Insignia 6. 2012 Quilceda Creek CVR 7. 2011 Ridge Estate Cabernet (Flawed) 2011 Pride Mountain Cabernet
