Had this wine 4 years ago. Interestingly, I rated it the same this time as last. Hasn't gotten any better with age, but hasn't gotten any worse either.

We had this 6+ year old Zin at Deno’s in Winter Park, Co. Elegant, slightly restrained fruit, varietally correct down to the Zin spice...100% balanced and integrated. Not an alcohol or fruit bomb, pure Zin elegance.

I'm telling you, Hartford has slowly crept up into my list of top zin producers, and this bottle was just another example of why I really need to start adding more to my cellar. Just an excellent zinfandel with an explosion of blackberries on the nose and blueberries, cinnamon, and a bit of pepper in the mouth. My favorite part about these wines is that they walk the line perfectly with the big beautiful dark fruits yet remain completely balanced with ample acidity creating an incredible mouthfeel and a super enjoyable drinking experience. Life is good!

W steak from grill. I think i disagree with night train. This went well with the red meat. It really developed into a nice well rounded wine. Good fruit, ice and length. It stayed fruity but that work well with the sirloin. After dinner this kept growing. Yummy wine. Didnt know i had some.

Lovely nose. Well balanced with nice fruit to start, became a bit acidic over time. Drink soon.
