Cherry and strawberry compotte, spicy and with a little baking soda. Not bad at entry, but ends with a bitterness and heat from the alcohol that is coming through. I think I liked it better sooner after release.

Very open and expressive nose with bruised strawberry, cherry in liquor, plum skin, asian spice, moist soil, root veggies and coffee beans/toasted oak. Developing some floral notes of dried violet and fresh grounded black pepper. Nice nose with distinct Pinosity.
Medium bodied with very smooth structure. Medium acidity and almost no tannins to speak of. Generous, ripe and almost sweet fruit. Strawberry compote, plum sauce, cold coffee, spice box and root veggies coming through. Medium intensity with decent length.
Easy-drinking, straight forward Pinot. Won't get better from here. Drink up.

Really liking this; green pepper, cherries and some flint, nice vibrant tannin structure and balanced acidity. Alcohol overpowering a bit too much to make it truly great, but in my opinion this wine strikes a good balance between spice and acidity on the one hand, and the Santa Barbara pn character on the other. Not too complex, but above average.

Similar to our last 15 or so months ago --this time showing more pronounced black tea-like qualities. Quite nice over four nights, it held up well.
