Definitely still has life left in it. Had classic licorice, cherry, cola, and spice flavors that you get in a lot of Cali pinots. Kept wanting a little more acidity, as it didn't feel as integrated as some of my more favorite Cali pinots. All in all a good effort though and was enjoyable.

Bummer, the last bottle and as delicious as the others. A surprising find from this winery that focuses on cabs and the impact of barrels. We must have got this before they jumped their pricing - recent vintages are priced at $75 - it's good but there are lots of really good pinots in the $35-$50 range. At $45, this was a good buy.

No idea what to expect, this bottle was a gift. Tight when first opened , wasn't giving anything for about 30 minutes and continued to evolve for next couple hours. Very CA Pinot in style, ripe and fruit forward. Complexity doesn't show until it opens, close to an hour.
Ripe, black cherry, strawberry, candied/cola on back palate. Finish is excellent, 30 seconds. This has legs to it, several years left but drinking great right now.

Dark garnet color. Slight berry on nose. Medium body with a bit of red fruit touch of tannins. End of drinking age.

Excellent bottle of wine. I would actually pay what they're asking for this.
