Strong fruit wine. Black raspberries to smell. Black raspberries and kiwi to taste. Notice the blue berries to taste after swallow. Kiwi is in the finish. It will stand Up to meat because of that tartness at the end.

For $6 at Grocery Outlet in San Francisco this is a decent zin. I might add that the Geary Store has a nice 2012 red blend Carnelian Project Paso Robles bottle for $6 which is ever better in terms of balance.

Nothing complex, but lots of scents and tastes of dark and red fruits. Short finish with little tannins showing up. This really is a great wine for the $10 I paid for it and a good example of a solid Sonoma zin. Smooth as some other $30 zins I've had, but you can tell its lower alcohol than others. This is a great summer chugger for all grilled and bbq'd meats.

Rich and tending toward the sweet side, but certainly not bad at all.

Bright red fruit. Lots of strawberry and cherry. Nice light zinfandel.
