Tasted 2 bottles at the McLaren Vale Wine Show Judges dinner 2013 generously shared by Dave "The Roadie" Brookes. One was just stunning, tightly coiled with years ahead of it, the other still good but more honey spectrum, nuts. Both from BDM cellar release. From a so-called lesser vintage.

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) Relatively pale colour. The nose is open and high toned, quite pure. The palate shows a lovely blend of fat and acidity surrounding a super core of concentrated young fruit. Very long too. This will be a wonderful wine, but should still wait.
