Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with tart, medium+ acidity and refined, medium tannins. The feel is poised and polished with red cherries, strawberries, tart raspberries, spices, cola, violets, and crushed rocks.
Overall: This is wonderful. There is a great amount of depth, balance, and poise all accompanied by tart, red fruits. What a treat!

Cloudy, medium-bodied strawberry/cherry fruit with cedar, slight bacon, and earth flavors, good acid, finish a little short, wine was enjoyable but lacked depth, complexity, and intensity of fruit

Bright garnet color, slightly browning at the edge.
Complex nose of reminiscent of a really finely crafted potpourri.
Mineral driven palate, very long with lush sweet (but never cloying) red and black cherries.
Savory morel finish.
Quite a complete California Pinot.

Honoring Burt Williams with some old Williams-Selyem (S.K.Y. restaurant, Pilsen, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is intensely perfumed and deep with red cherries, strawberries, tart raspberries, licorice, cola, smoke, violets, and crushed rocks. The notes are fresh and well balanced with a captivating way that just draws you in.

This was one of the better 'old' WS we've had, interesting for a '93 - drink Rochioli vineyards last?
