The color shows the age by the browninsh-yellow. In the nose sugar cane, stones, minerals, figs, tea leaves, clear apple juice on low intensity. On the palate medium sweet, intense flavors of clarified apple juice, a little dry fig then a long mouth-watering mineral led finish. In fact the flavor seems to stay in the mouth for a couple of minutes. Needs to be well-chilled because has lost the lots of the original freshness. medium body, low alcohol.

Pale to med gold, closed nose shows hints of citrus, apple, minerals, b3, a2, touch flat, flabby on entry, some acidity emerges, finishes a bit short, watery, flavors muted, cooked a bit?

Crisp and clean nose of granny smith apples, pineapple and rainwater. Expansive ripe tropical fruit on the attack, tempered by a healthy dose of acidity. A delightful Kabinett that could last for several more years. Unfortunately, this was my only bottle. Paired very well with grilled pork tenderloin topped with a pineapple-cilantro- yellow bell pepper salsa.

(Kerpen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett) A bit simple on the nose with apples, slate, rubber, clove and strawberry. Almost zero fruit in the midpalate and watery. . . Can you say donut? Finish is sweet green apples and high acid. Very ripe but short and clipped
