Pretty nose after 30mins air. A hybrid of Chambolle and Gevrey- with some red fruit, minerals and acidity in the nose and more meaty characteristics later in the body. Amazing for a village level.

Cherry, red berries, sweet spice, a slight peppery alcohol prickle, touch of farmyard funkiness. Juicy, fleshy, ripe cherry and a touch of blackberry, slight sourness here, chalky drying tannins mean that this is a little too boisterous to be described as elegant in a Chambolle style but I don't have an issue with that...

Took about 30 minutes in the glass to start giving it’s red fruits and floral notes. The palate is harmonious with fine, silky tannins. Held up well on day 2 also.

Drinking very well now, followed over two days. Nicely integrated with a lovely palate. Excellent nose, outstanding balance, nice fruit. No great nuance, but this is a lovely bottle batting, as it should, above village weight.

Red fruits, mineral, light on its feet, some pepper spice. Red florals come through. Charming, but also not too complex.
