Home-drinking. Disg October 2019. It does not reach the plenitude of the 2015 Disgorgement I had a few weeks ago. Telltale Egly praline is not showing as strongly. Very complex however. Candied orange fruit. A fine drink now but having sampled many this will build a nice further patina over the next 5 years

At a private lunch, Greenslopes. This wine opened only slowly with a pale pink bronze colour and a fine bead. The nose is initially quite shy and showed plenty of yeasty characters. With time it opened to reveal a fine nose of wild strawberry, white cherries, white nectarine and touches of Christmas spice and lemon rind. The palate is rich and complex but remained quite tight and primary. Overall the palate was defined by its fine structure and persistence with further character to be expressed with time in the glass. A lovely festive Champagne of serious character.

Lovely nose with brioche, lots of fruit, citrus, orange, a hint of smoke, and slightly oxidative notes. Great acidity with more orange flavors, red berries, and minerals on the palate. Nice finish. A lovely, classic, crisp rose. A pleasure to drink!

My bottle, and another winner in the rosé flight. Energetic. Citrus, mandarin, sandlewood. Love this
