Tasted at Vinotecca. 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Dark maroon colour. At first the nose is reticent, but with time it flowers. There is some fruit in the nose. Good flavour, but not outstanding. High good (83.5).

Everything is in balance and is unpretentiously refreshing. The nose offers slight bacon and smoke while the flavors are of cherry, boysenberry and some blackberry. The freshness hits you immediately and follows through to the finish, thanks to the subtle, clean minerality, while the supporting tannins keep the fruit dancing on the midpalate for some time.

Day 1 - Spicy, short finish. Went well with a cheese board. Day 2 - Not much change.

Chronicle: Dark spice; leather; sweet funky smell and deep rich t’s. I like this style.
