(Decanted for one and a half hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue and showing nose filled with warm fruity sweetness, herbal notes, licorice and white pepper and with time in the glass a delicious black truffles note as well. Pleasant intensity on the maturing palate with softening tannins and still showing lots of primary fruity sweetness before herbs and licorice takes over on the nice and pleasant finish. (Best 2022-2037)

Friday Night Brown Bagger (R&R's): Double blind. Bricking with some sediment as well. Red fruit, subtle herb notes and raisin. Raisin and spice with a slight hint of something towards varnish. Guessed CndP. (R&D)

Consistent with previous tasting experience in October. This is sweet, herbal, spicy and has a very long tannic finish. At a great spot for drinking - beautifull.

Here it is, the revisit in Autumn. And the wine performed much better than on this warm summer day in August. Sweet, delicious fruit on the palate and a long, sweet, spicy and herbal finish. Really nice and at peak.

Drank over 2 days, on day 2 the wine was gone. Fair to say, is that we had problems to bring the wine to a good drinking temperature. On day 1 i could detect sweetness, quite a tannic finish - in a pleasant way -, lots of plum and alcohol. To revisit in autumn.
