My first of 3 bottles that I bought when it was released. A pleasant surprise as I was expecting much less than we got. Part of a wine night at a Turkish restaurant with my wine group. Elegant, complex, with just a slight touch of Brett.

No contemporaneous notes but my recollection is that it was good but very one dimensional for a CdP. I've often found CdP to have a wide drinking window, but I think I would hold out for another year or two before opening another bottle. Of course this was a difficult year, and maybe this is as good as it gets.

Blending 60% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 10% Cinsault and 10% Counoise, the wine reached 14.5% alcohol A blast of garrigue and kirsch, with soft, sweet, ripe, juicy red fruits in the end notes really stick with you.
