  • Delicious and rustic Faugeres, which is just what I want. Lots of red fruits and some floral notes complimented by garrigue and some very horsey and animal qualities. This earthiness really carries the fruit along, along with pleasantly low alcohol, fine grained tannins, and ample acidity. Very moreish and a rare example of a wine with complexity and secondary characteristics that is also good as an aperitif. That being said, I couldn't resist it with a terrine.
