Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 91 points

  • Decanted 45 minutes. Dark as night (what should we expect from 70% Petit Verdot?!). Deep black cherries and roasted oak on the nose. Tons of dark fruits, a little raspberry jam and some spices on the very plush palate. The finish features some interesting pencil lead and tar amongst the black fruits with a long, spiciness and pretty good acid/tannin balance. Seems near peak, but well stored bottles have years of life remaining. 91+
