  Lovely nose with red fruit notes, cherries, flowers, and a bit of savory. Good acidity with more red fruit, some structural tannins, tart berries, and forest floor on the palate. Nice finish. The nose especially was very open and pure. Overall a great wine that's approachable now, but will only improve with age.

  Crouch End Crew (Crouch End Cellars): Mmm - classic nose. Some greenness, with sweet juicy fruit and hints of undergrowth, and sweet raspberry apparent with more time in glass. Harmonious and effortless in feel, but nicely anchored by the fulness of the mid-palate. Great Burgundy, surely with upside.

  Le nez est expressif dès l'ouverture mais la bouche est réduite à l'introduction. Elle s'ouvre après 30 à 60 minutes. Beaucoup de fruits, sur des belles notes primaires légèrement croquantes. Comme d'habitude, les vins du domaines sont sérieux, avec des tannins modérés et une grande complexité d'arômes. Une finale sur les épices qui m'auraient orientée vers Vosne à l'aveugle. Un vin toujours impressionnant chez Mme Barthod quand on lit que le terroir est assez chaud, au centre de la commune, en bas de coteau, et que seule une partie des Beaux Bruns est en 1er cru...
