Green peppers, limited fruit, acidic. Long legs but not much fruit if any at all. Decanted and sat for an hour but it unfortunately did not open up. Very sad for me bc I bought it just because Tom Seaver, Tom Terrific, the Franchise, was my favorite Met player growing up. His passing in '22 was so sad. Really was hoping to love this wine. Still have a few more hopefully it gets better w more time.

Decanted for one hour. Aromas of ripe blackberry, currant, mocha, spice and forest floor. Black and red fruit, cocoa powder, spice and crushed rock on the palate. Finishes with good length. Full bodied. Served with a Swedish smorgasbord.

A poor year for fruit on the valley floor but a great year for Diamond Mountain where this winery is located. I think this year is my favorite of the Seaver wines I have tried.

Decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, black cherry, currant, cocoa, black olive and vanilla. Black and blue fruit, coffee, spice and plush tannins on the palate. Finished with good length, but slightly astringent. Full bodied. Served with grilled tenderloin and black truffle butter.

Wow! This bottle is so much better than the other 2 we opened. Very deep and profound flavors of dark red and black fruits with a bit of spice. We didn't decant this one completely, but should have because of the solids in the bottle. This has to be the best GTS we've tasted and it should keep going for several more years easily.
