Little or no change since Mar '22. Perhaps a tad mustier, but wow did that mirrored the flavors in the Stilton cheese souffle I paired it with, and that was a magical match. Minor sediment the texture of coffee grounds required filtering out.
Old school Bordeaux a bit more rustic in texture than a bottle six months ago with wads of cocoa on the finish, but it's good nonetheless and a perfect companion for roast lamb.

Wow, this is the first CT note on this wine since 2015 and I've got to say y'all missed the boat. That is, if you like Bordeauxs with some age on them. Showing very well right now and on the richer side with black cherry fruit, tobacco, and cocoa bean on the finish.

Russk. Leftovers at the Ties. Peter sent this bottle in hos absence. The WOTN for me. Old Bx Nose of iron, iodine, and Barnyard. Medium bodied. Translucent. A touch of grip in the finish. Wish i had some more.

This was better when it was firmer a few years ago. Now in a sort of in between stage. I would open the night before drinking or wait another 2 years for this to find its sweet spot. Better 2016+.
