Similar to my 12/11/21 note but alas we drank it too soon to enable it to fully open up. Big, dark cherry fruit, structure, great nose, medium finish.

Light to medium body. Tight and restrained. Subdued fruit and quite dull all around. Will surely benefit from more time but I am not sure this has much to offer.

Opened and shared at the zachys auction at Le Bernardin Prive. Took a couple hours to fully open but this was a great bottle of wine. Voluptuous fruit, fantastic velvety mouthfeel, medium-long finish and an amazing Burgundian bouquet of rose, cherry and musk. Wish I had more.

Thought I grabbed a 1er cru--oops! But early as it is, this showed well. Effusive nose of cherries with bit of violet and an unusual gunpowder note (no, not flint, not matchstick, gunpowder) and same on the palate. Medium bodied, and more primary than secondary with plenty of acidity so should hold well.
