  This bottle is quite youthful but fully integrated showing gorgeous dark cherry fruit with a firm yet luxuriant texture. Very silky and refined with a taut finish with notes of crunchy minerals and red spice. There is a wonderful perfume of mineral-infused cherries that permeates the entire experience of this wine. 93+

  Late night pop n pour at l'Expression. Fairly muted and brooding at this stage. Aggressive swirling shows hints of what's ahead. Mostly black cherry with toasted herb and spice.   Rather muted nose at this point but hints of dark cherry perfume and chalky minerals. On the palate, it has beautiful floral lift to go along with the succulent dark cherry fruit and superb Pinot cut. The finish has a very fine density and a lovely, complex mineral crunch. Young yet but this is a beautiful vintage for this wine that is more elegance over power. Love that succulent, chalky finish. 93+
